Originating around the 1920’s and 1930’s in India via the polo field, the Chukka Boot was popularised much later by the British Army during the Second World War. Sometimes referred to as the Desert Boot, this shoe has made many a comeback, but most prominently during the fifties with Marlon Brando and Steve McQueen often spotted wearing them.
